SRINAGAR: The Director General (DG) Horticulture, Kashmir Ajaz Ahmad Bhat today chaired a review meeting at the Rajbagh Directorate of Horticulture, here.
During the meeting, the CEO reviewed all the departmental diagrams and insisted on all the agents and agencies concerned for the timely completion of the given objectives. He urged the officer to make proper and complete expenses and said low expenses from an officer will not be accepted.
The DG also asked them to speed up the implementation of the modified high density plantation scheme, for which a target of 5,500 hectares has been set for a period of 6 years.
He urged officers to make frequent field visits and organize regular awareness camps and provide producers with the latest technical know-how. Improving the working culture in offices, maintaining a friendly atmosphere for producers and developing staff skills were also among the many instructions given to officers.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Horticultural Officers and other divisional level officers of the Ministry. Representatives of the agencies formed for the modified high density plantation project also attended the meeting.
