Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): It’s a classic example of high tech transition with a traditional mindset. The School Education Department (SED) is preparing for a digital intervention in CM Rise schools, but with the idea that the power supply will remain irregular even in the future, a government teacher said.
A study conducted by the Department of School Education indicates that it has been observed through several studies and reports that learning outcomes in schools show marked improvement in all settings through implementation and monitoring effective digital interventions designed to support classroom and home learning.
SED will host a Digital Education Business Conclave on December 17, where businesses will deliver a presentation that could improve the learning process for students.
One surprising fact, however, is SED’s special note for companies that ask them to take a hands-on approach. âGiven the realities of schools, the material must be such that it is easy to use; has low dependence on continuous power supply and low dependence on Internet access, âstates the edutech business consultancy.
âIt’s an ideal example of regressive thinking. They (the officers) maybe pretend they are thinking big, but they still don’t believe that the problem of power failure or erratic power supply will be solved in the near future, âsaid Ashutsoh Pandey, former secretary general of the MP Shikshak Congress.
âTo improve student learning and facilitate a greater focus on results-based teaching methods, Madhya Pradesh plans to introduce relevant digital educational interventions in these CM RISE schools. The aim of introducing these interventions is to support the traditional teaching-learning process allowing students to achieve better academic results and achieve the desired learning outcomes, âsaid a senior official from the department. on condition of anonymity.
During the first phase of the program, 350 schools in all districts of the state were identified as CM RISE schools. These schools will be equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities and will serve as leading schools in all areas of the state.
