Haney Tech Center encourages remote registration for fall

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Schools across the Panhandle continue to make plans and adjustments ahead of the 2020-2021 school year, and Haney Tech Center will do the same regarding upcoming registrations.

Fall registrations begin Monday July 20 and interested students will be invited to register remotely if possible.

Community relations manager Alex Murphy told News 13 that in-person dates will still be available, but the school is working to limit face-to-face contact.

Murphy said class sizes have been limited in order to follow CDC guidelines and some are already filled with returning students. However, anyone interested should still register as some students may not return, thus opening up a place for a new candidate.

Classes for the coming year will begin August 4, but some programs will begin at a later date. For more information on funding and scholarship opportunities, contact the Haney Tech Center at 850-767-5500.
