The Ministry of School Education and Literacy is celebrating the iconic week of the Union Government’s Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Campaign from January 17-21. The ministry is organizing a series of events for the celebrations which will include a two-day international webinar on toys and games to play, make and learn, 27th Annual National Conference of Sahodaya School Complexes and a webinar on inclusive education.

Partnership with Atal Mission Innovation

Among these planned events, the Webinar on Inclusive Education will be organized on January 17, 2022 in partnership with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) in virtual and physical mode.

This webinar will bring together senior officials from the Ministry of Education, school principals, state IE coordinators, parents and other stakeholders and will be one of the themes “Ed Tech Start-ups Focused on children with special needs”.

The theme of the webinar will be “Ed Tech Startups Focused on Children with Special Needs”.

The webinar aims to educate parents and teachers about the technology and assistive devices available for children with special needs.

27th edition of the National Conference of Sahodaya Schools

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will also organize the 27th edition of the National Conference of its Sahodaya School Complexes on the theme ‘PUNARNAVA – REDISCOVERING INDIA @75’ on January 17-18 in hybrid mode.

This national conference will aim to engage participants in co-creating and contributing to a sustainable future.

It is also intended to enable principals and management of CBSE affiliated schools to understand the innovative new policies and practices being launched by the board under NEP 2020.

Webinar on the role of toys in the cognitive development of children

On January 20 and 21, a webinar will be organized on the rediscovery of the role of toys in the cognitive development of children.

It will also try to promote the art of making toys with inexpensive or free materials that are not only environmentally friendly, but also encourage children’s creativity, teamwork and problem-solving ability. .
